Board of Directors
Rotary Club of Jalandhar is managed by a qualified Board of Directors who have specific roles to play during the current Rotary year. The Directors are selected after careful analysis of all the members and depending upon their interest, experience and profession, certain responsibilities are assigned to them so that the clubs Rotary goals are attained with effective team work.
The Board of Directors of Rotary Club of Jalandhar officially meets at least once in a month to plan, execute and review the Club's monthly projects and meetings. By working together as members of the Club Board and involving all the members of the Club in various projects and activities, Directors are key to achieving the goals of our Club and the overall philosophy of Rotary. All Directors are authorized and encouraged to form committees to accomplish their tasks and to involve many of the Club’s members in those tasks.
Rtn Abhishek Chaudhary

Abhishek Chaudhary is a Financial Analyst and manages portfolio in stock market. He has done his Post Graduation in Master of Business Administration(Finance) and is also a CFA Level 3 candidate. He also owns a Hotel by the name Hotel Jane Royal at Phillaur.
He joined Rotary club of Jalandhar in 2015 when he was 24 years old and is currently the youngest member of the club. He has served at several posts in the club. In addition to that he served at the post of District Treasurer in 2018-19 and also been awarded as the STAR ROTARIAN OF THE YEAR for the same year. He will serve the Rotary Club of Jalandhar as President for the year 2021-22

Immediate Past President Rotarian Prabhpal Singh Pannu, aged 48 is an Engineer and Post Graduate from University of Pune and worked in various streams of Sales & Marketing, Project Management and Real Estate in his professional career.
During his rotary tenure starting from 2009, He has worked in the Yearly board of directors of Rotary Club of Jalandhar on various positions such as Vice President, Director Youth Services, Director Vocational Services, Sgt – at-Arms etc. He has also been Chairman of Annual Rotary District Conference held in Jalandhar in Rotary year 2018-19.

Mrs. Nupur Sandhu is Founder Director of first ever multilingual Jammu Literary Festival – YAYAVAR. She has first showcase her theatrical venture “in her shoes” at Jammu and then went to hold eleven back to back shows. She believes that since Jammu has unfolded her creative side, she owes her success to this city and thus chose it for first its Literary Festival.
She holds first position in Public Recognition and third position in Global Poetry at Yalta Festival. Nupur Sandhu is the first woman ambassador who represented Jammu and promoted its tourism at the Asian Voluntary Summit at Cebu, Philippines in 2017.

Dr Vijay Oberoi ,aged 45, is a young dentist by profession. He is a renowned dentist of Jalandhar practising since 1999. He has done his BDS from Patna. He has a charismatic personality with a zeal to do something for the society. His better half Dr Ramandeep Oberoi is also practising Dentist. Dr Oberoi will be looking after a very important portfolio of Director Dentist.

Rotarian Surinder Sakhuja, who is a 1970 passed out Mechanical Engineer, joined a Civil Construction Company to mark the start of his career and worked on Anandpur Sahib Hydel Project SYL project for 20 years. .
Thereafter he settled permanently in Jalandhar and runs a distributorship of Lenovo brand of computer products, Laptops and accessories.
Associated with Rotary Club of Jalandhar for since 2006, Rotarian Surinder Sakhuja has been the President of the club in the year 2019-20. A very dedicated and committed member of the club, he has served the club on various club posts such as Club Secretary, Club Treasurer ( 4 times including this year) etc and has also being assigned various responsibilities in the District.
