Club Chairs
The Club Chairs are a key to contribute toward the success of the vision, goals and activities of the Rotary Club of Jalandhar. All the major avenues of the Club Chairs i.e. Foundation and Grants, Club Training, Membership Development, Literacy, Rotaract/Interact , In house Club Entertainment and Rotary Public Image requires in depth knowledge, experience and information of the Rotary International goals and synchronisation of the same with the Club goals. Hence these extremely important responsibilities are assigned to mostly Past Presidents and other senior members of the club, who guide the Club President and Board of Directors to effectively work together as a team towards ensuring a successful rotary year.
Rtn Krishan Arora
Rotary Foundation & Grants Chair
Rotarian krishan Arora, a very Senior Rotarian who is into Sanitary Goods Distribution, has served on various District positions such as Assistant Governor, District Treasurer, District Secretary etc. He served Rotary Club of Jalandhar as Club Secretary in 2004-05 and then as President in 2007-08. Through his vast experience in Rotary, He has been instrumental in successful implementation of various projects on District and Club levels.
Dr Sukant Varma
Club Trainer
Rtn Dr Sukant Varma is Dental Surgeon by classification and has joined his family Dental clinic in 1998. He is running this oldest Dental Clinic of Jalandhar started by his late Grandfather in 1928, which was run by his late father Dr S K Varma.
Dr Sukant Varma has served Rotary Club of Jalandhar as Club Secretary in 2006-07 and then as President in 2008-09. He has served Dist 3070 in various prestigious positions since his association with Rotary and Rotary club of Jalandhar.
Rtn SK Bansal
Membership Development & Felicitations Chair
Rotarian Shiv Kumar Bansal (PHF), a very prominent Rotarian, who is into Printing Business and has served on various important District positions such as Chief Sgt – at – Arms in Year 2009-10. He served Rotary Club of Jalandhar as Club Secretary in 2009-10 and then as President in 2012-13. Through his vast experience in Rotary, He has worked on various club positions such as Club Treasurer and various other profiles. He also got the award of Best Chairman Selection Committee. He is also Press Secretary of Printers Association of Jalandhar.
Rtn K C Gupta
Literacy and Wins Chair
Rotarian KC Gupta is a renowned income Tax lawyer of Jalandhar, practicing for the last 52 years. Being serving first as a Secretary and then President of Rotary Club of Jalandhar in 2013-14, Rotarian KC Gupta has been in the Club board for consecutive last 8 years.
He has been assigned various important posts in the District such as District Secretary (2018-19), Zonal chairman Rotary Foundation (2014-15), Aide to District Governor (2015-16), Zonal Chairman economic Community development (2016-17), Zonal Chairman for care of senior citizens ( 2017-18).
Rtn Harinder Singh
Rotaract/ Interact & My Rotary Chair
Rotarian Harinder Singh runs a successful Sports Goods manufacturing unit by the name of Prospo India, a leading brand in Boxing, Martial Arts and Field Sports. Having served as Club President in the year 2016-17, Rotarian Harinder Singh have successfully executed various important projects such as Happy school at village Hazara Jalandhar, Eye Operations, Dental Check ups, Distribution of school desks, blood donation camps, Recognising Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Jalandhar, Distribution of uniforms and school bags etc in his remarkable tenure as president of the club. He has served the District on various important positions and currently is Assistant Governor for the current Rotary year.
Rtn Ashwani Sehgal
In house Entertainment Chair
Born on 11th Jan.1958 and happily married with Reva Sehgal , Rotarian Ashwani Sehgal runs a successful business under the name of M/S Sehgal Global Point Jalandhar for Air ticketing and Tours package. He Joined Rotary club of Jalandhar in the year 2011-12 and served the club at various position such as Sgt.- at – arms in 2012-13, Treasurer in the year 2013 -14 and then became President of the club in the year 2015-16 and then again in the year 2017-18. He is a member of Asia's biggest club Lions Club of Jalandhar and has also served as its President. He is also President of Housing Board Residents Welfare Association.
Rtn Sunil Gupta
Public Image/Projects Chair
Rotarian Sunil Gupta is successfully managing a business of supply of Medicines, Surgical equipments, Radiology etc to various Government, Private and Semi Government Institutions of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Jammu and Kashmir etc. Being a very prominent and old member of Rotary club of Jalandhar, Rotarian Sunil Gupta has worked on enormous Community developments projects and will be working as Public Image/Projects chair in this Rotary year.
